    1. Thanks Billy,
Much appreciated! I did get into Art Center's Entertainment Design program for Fall 2012. Honestly the biggest thing that helped me was taking an Intro to Entertainment Design class at Art Center at Night, but if you live to far than I would say to keep to a deadline with your portfolio, and always have a solid story in mind before you create concept art for it, you can always send me stuff you have for critique, good luck! Draw everyday!

  3. Hey Yue, it's good to see your stuff too. It looks as though you went in a different direction than the stuff you had in Eric's class. If I remember right you had an underwater theme with castles. I honestly can't see how they didn't let you in! Your stuff is really awesome. I hope that I'll see you in the Spring, they better let you in this next time around!

    1. Thanks man, I think they require about 20 pages minimum for applying, just cover all the basics: environments, vehicles, props, and characters. I do my drawings in pen then scan them into photoshop to paint. As far as tips just keep drawing!

  8. fantastic work!...I want to ask (at the time 2012) did you apply to other art colleges like LCAD and OTIS with this portfolio. If yes, were you accepted in those as well (I'm asking this because I'm about to apply to art colleges in California). Thank you, looking forward to your reply soon

    1. Hey man, thanks for checking it out, I keep this portfolio up to help people like yourself with the entrance process which can be a pain. I only applied to Art Center, they have the best program as far as fundamentals in industrial design. Any other questions let me know, good luck! -Andrew
